R&D PROJECTS IN PROGRESS

IDIMO project

This project is carried out by a Basque consortium led by I+MED, with the participation of CREATECH MEDICAL and seven other companies with common interests in the biomedical sector.

The main goal is to research and develop new immunomodulatory biomaterials and new diagnostic systems for immune response and infections, in order to improve the safety, durability and personalisation of new advanced medical devices. In this way, it contributes to the development of a competitive fabric of Basque companies with the capacity to develop their own technologies, to make a technological leap in the modulation and monitoring of the immune response, as well as infections, caused during the implantation of a biomedical product. All this would generate added value in the biomedical sector.

The project is co-financed by the Department of Economic Development, Sustainability and Environment of the Basque Government and by the European Union (ERDF).

IOPREC PROJECT

The objective of the IOPREC is to develop a physical-digital correction system for precision intraoral scans. This Project seeks to achieve implant-supported dental prostheses with a precise fit for edentulous patients.

The project is co-financed by the Department of Economic Development, Sustainability and Environment of the Basque Government and the European Union (FEDER).

CERATECH PROJECT

The objective of the CERATech project is the development of a new titanium-based material and ceramic solutions for the dental sector.

The project is co-financed by the Department by the Department of Economic Development, Sustainability and Environment of the Basque Government and the European Union (FEDER).

NINFA

NINFA is conceived as a transversal project that seeks to take advantage of the synergies of its developments in different industrial sectors such as the dental health and the aeronautic industry. The objective of the project is to promote the research and development of new solutions, systems and protocols that allow the industrialization of additive manufacturing components more effectively, at a lower cost and maintaining the quality requirements of the current aerospace industry. All of these solutions will be demonstrated from conception to design and manufacturing, including post-processing in innovative component solutions.

The project is co-financed by CDTI and FEDER. Execution period: July 2020 – December 2023.

COMPLETED PROJECTS

INDUSTRIAL INVESTMENT PLAN TO STRENGTHEN THE COMPETITIVENESS OF CREATECH MEDICAL

Through this project, Createch takes a qualitative leap in its trajectory, consolidating growth that allows it to position itself as one of the reference manufacturers with high added value in the dental sector. The purpose of the planned investments, which include a new pavilion and machinery, is to develop new technologies that will allow to increase its competitiveness: additive manufacturing and intraoral scanning technologies. The Project is financed by the Ministry of Industry, Commerce and Tourism.

BIO3D

The objective of the BIO3D Consortium is to research and develop new biomaterials for the additive manufacturing process, new bioprinters adapted to these materials, and new 3D printed biomedical Solutions. The project is financed by the Hazitek Program of the Basque Government.

APEM-AM

The objective of the APEM-AM project is to create a new setting for the additive manufacturing of metals to produce it in a more reliable and efficient way. Egile faces this challenge by changing the approach from the design phase to production. With the integration of topological optimization tools and numerical simulations of the process to obtain an expert knowledge in design for additive manufacturing. The development of process monitoring techniques that provide data in real time to ensure the quality of the manufactured component.

The project is financed by the CDTI and has been supported by the Ministry of Economy, Industry and Competitiveness. Execution period: December 2019 – March 2022.

Road to smile

RoadToSmile is a project that seeks to research and develop new planning processes for surgical and dental prosthetic treatments using the latest technology. The project is financed by the Hazitek Program of the Basque Government.
