R&D PROJECTS IN PROGRESS

CIPRES PROJECT

The main objective of this project is to research innovative cyber-physical technologies that enable the digitalization of high-precision measurement workflows for implant- supported dental prosthetics, contributing to the development of safer customized dental prostheses and the creation of new automated and sustainable processes.

The project is co-funded by the Department of Industry, Energy Transition and Sustainability of the Basque Government and by the European Union (ERDF).

>ADFUN PROJECT

ADFUN PROJECT

With this project, CREATECH aims to explore the possibilities of design and manufacture through PBF-LB additive technology of titanium implants, with optimised osseointegration properties. This requires the study and research of new implant designs, as well as the development of optimised process parameters that allow the defined geometries to be obtained with the specified requirements. In addition, surface treatment and functionalisation technologies will be studied and developed for the incorporation and optimisation of the osseointegration properties of the final solution, always considering the need for biological compatibility and future certification.

The project is co-funded by the Department of Industry, Energy Transition and Sustainability of the Basque Government and by the European Union (ERDF).

CROX PROJECT

With the aim of implementing the Roxolid® Circular Economy concept, the CROX project has been launched, which includes the research and development of technologies that allow the recycling of raw materials and their subsequent processing by additive technology in CREATECH's plants.

This project involves the research and development of conditioning and atomisation processes, from which a powder is obtained that allows the process to be scaled up to CREATECH's facilities, thus allowing the reuse and/or recycling of Roxolid® Ti alloy, as well as its subsequent processing by PBF-LB additive technology.

The project is co-funded by the Department of Industry, Energy Transition and Sustainability of the Basque Government and by the European Union (ERDF).

CROX PROJECT

COMPLETED PROJECTS

IDIMO project

This project is carried out by a Basque consortium led by I+MED, with the participation of CREATECH MEDICAL and seven other companies with common interests in the biomedical sector.

The main goal is to research and develop new immunomodulatory biomaterials and new diagnostic systems for immune response and infections, in order to improve the safety, durability and personalisation of new advanced medical devices. In this way, it contributes to the development of a competitive fabric of Basque companies with the capacity to develop their own technologies, to make a technological leap in the modulation and monitoring of the immune response, as well as infections, caused during the implantation of a biomedical product. All this would generate added value in the biomedical sector.

The project is co-financed by the Department of Economic Development, Sustainability and Environment of the Basque Government and by the European Union (ERDF).
